    Monthly Sogetsu Events

Slide the images below to see our typical monthly lineup of events.

  • Regular Monthly Meetings

Each month, from September through May, we have a meeting with a program that features a Sogetsu lesson or theme. A Sogetsu instructor demonstrates the program after which we have a workshop. Participants use their own containers and materials to create the featured type of arrangement. After the participants complete their arrangements, the instructor reviews each one commenting on the participant's understanding of the theme and offering advice on how the participant could make improvements.

Our monthly meetings start at 1:00 pm at:

    North Haven Gardens

    7700 Northaven Road
    Dallas, TX 75230

    Start, Restart and Refresh (SR/R)

From 10:45 am - 12 pm, before our monthly Thursday meeting at Northaven Gardens (NHG), a lesson on Sogetsu basics is taught by a certified teacher. Lessons are only from Sogetsu Text Book 1, and no credit is given. You can download the registration form below.

From 3-5 pm, either the 3rd or 4th Sunday of each month, we show a video using Zoom. This is shared with Dallas I.I. Chapter 13, every other month. We will not have a Zoom meeting any month in which a weekend event is planned. The video sessions are listed in the Program Brochure. Registration for Zoom meetings is required. Registration and Zoom details will be in the monthly newsletters.
